Does Your LoveHandle Fit the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, or the New iPhone Duo?
Apple just announced the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable - the iPhone Duo. The Pro models go up for pre-order September 12 and ship September 18. The Duo follows with pre-orders October 16 and a October 23 release.
If you're upgrading, you've probably already asked the question we're getting in our inbox: Do I need new accessories?
Short answer: if you're getting an iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max, no. Everything you already own from us still works. If you're getting the Duo, the answer is more interesting - and it comes down to one product.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max: everything fits
The Pro models keep the familiar flat-back, slab design. Same MagSafe magnet array, same 25W wireless charging, same geometry that accessories have been built around since the iPhone 12.
That means every LoveHandle product is compatible with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max - the Original grip, the XL, the wallet, and the entire MagSafe lineup. Your existing LoveHandle transfers over on day one. If you bought a grip for an iPhone 15 or 16, it works on your 18 Pro.
One note on the new colors: Burgundy and Glacier are going to be the two everyone photographs. Our straps come in enough colorways to either match or deliberately clash, whichever you're into.
iPhone Duo: a foldable changes the math
The Duo is a genuinely different object. Folded, it's a short, wide, passport-shaped device with a 5.4-inch outer display. Opened, it's 7.6 inches and only 5.2mm thick. Folded, it's 11.3mm - and it weighs 254 grams, making it the heaviest iPhone Apple has shipped.
Two things follow from that.
First, a grip matters more, not less. A quarter-kilogram phone that's wider than what your hand is used to is exactly the device you don't want to be pinching at the edges. A wide, heavy, expensive foldable is the strongest argument for a strap we've ever seen Apple ship.
Second, footprint suddenly matters. Accessories designed for a 6.3-inch or 6.9-inch back panel have room to spread out. The Duo's outer panel is short. Our XL grip, our wallet, and our larger PRO MagSafe products are all sized for a full-height iPhone back - they aren't the right fit for the Duo's shorter closed form factor. We'd rather tell you that now than let you find out after checkout.
The good news: Apple confirmed the Duo supports MagSafe at up to 25W, plus Qi2.2. Magnetic attachment on a foldable is real, which means there's a clean path forward.
The LoveHandle Mini for MagSafe fits both
The Mini was designed around a simple idea: get all the grip, use less of the phone.
It's smaller than our standard MagSafe products and shaped rounder - more circular and oval than rectangular - so it sits inside the magnet ring without crowding the edges of the panel it's stuck to. On an iPhone 18 Pro Max, that reads as a low-profile, minimal grip. On the Duo's shorter outer panel, it's the shape that actually works.
The Mini for MagSafe is the one product in our lineup designed to fit both the iPhone 18 Pro family and the iPhone Duo.
We'll have hands-on confirmation once retail Duo units ship on October 23, and we'll update this page with real-world fit notes then.

Frequently asked questions
Will my current LoveHandle work on my iPhone 18 Pro? Yes. Nothing about the Pro's back panel or MagSafe array changed in a way that affects fit.
Does the iPhone Duo support MagSafe accessories? Yes. Apple confirmed MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W and Qi2.2 support on the Duo.
Can I use an iPhone 18 Pro case on the iPhone Duo? No. The two are completely different form factors, and cases are not interchangeable between them. Buy model-specific.
Do I need a case for a LoveHandle to work? No. Our adhesive grips attach directly to the phone or a case. MagSafe products need either a bare MagSafe-equipped iPhone or a MagSafe-compatible case.
